Basic Life Support (BLS)

Equips participants with the skills to handle sudden cardiac arrest, heart attack and foreign body airway obstruction through cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

  • Duration: 1 day
  • Who it is for: All medical and non-medical personnel
  • Certifying body: National Resuscitation Council of Kenya (NRCK) and American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Dates: Monthly
  • Fee: KES 4,000 internal staff · KES 6,000 external

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Builds on Basic Life Support and emphasises the importance of continuous, high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

  • Duration: 3 days
  • Who it is for: Nurses, clinical officers and medical officers
  • Certifying body: National Resuscitation Council of Kenya (NRCK) and American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Dates: Quarterly — March, June, September and November
  • Fee: KES 10,000 internal staff · KES 12,000 external
